Bonnie's WHY - While WBHS holds great meaning to me (I’m a Worthington by birth and was born into this amazing family), I had not really considered a position with the company as I had a rewarding teacher career in a neighboring state. But after the crazy of covid and a lot of reflection, I wanted a change. I was excited about the prospect of working from home and having added flexibility in my day. Working closely with my brother was also appealing to me because family has been a top priority in my life, and I am honored to have this opportunity to help with the family business. 


  


Darius WHY - My name is Darius Harbison and I am the production manager at WBHS. I started working for Worthington in 2018 as a basement health inspector. Fast forward 5 years, I am now the CPO (Chief Production Officer). The reason I have chosen to continue my career at Worthington is because of the excellent work environment that the company provides on a day-to-day basis. Sean Worthington, the company owner, is always pushing his employees to improve themselves and become the best possible person that they can be. Sean doesn't just say " become the best possible person you can be", but actively provides opportunities to improve yourself. These opportunities can range from off-site training courses to in-house training or even obtaining certifications in different fields of our industry. Sean is always striving to produce a company-wide connectivity from department to department and by doing so I am glad to say that our employees have a great connection with each other. Our core values are considered in every decision that we make for the company and these core values are part of the reason that our customers say that our customer service skills are top notch. One of our core values is "help first." We believe that by having a "help first" mentality, everyone in the company will thrive. That mentality naturally filters into our customer's lives when we interact with them. At the end of the day, I can go on forever about why Worthington is such an amazing company, but rather than taking my word,  I ask that you find out for yourself. I assure you that you will not be disappointed!  


 


Mandy WHY - Sean is one of the most genuine people I have ever known. He values family more than anything, and dedicates his life to helping others. When I became a mom in 2020, I needed a change. I wanted to be present for my family, while keeping my independence and furthering my career. Sean has given me the opportunity to be the very best mom to my two children as well as the chance to help people protect their homes and their loved ones. I am so thankful to be part of the Worthington Family. 


 


Megan WHY - In 2022 I needed a career opportunity that would allow me to balance my goals as a businesswoman with being a wife and mother - something that’s very important to me. With a background in sales and education, I wasn’t an exact match for my position, but Sean Worthington, Mandy, and Bonnie took a chance. They BELIEVED in me, and I am so happy they did. I love what I do, so much so I have trouble pulling myself away from work at the end of the day. I cannot say enough about how supportive the team is and how much I’ve grown since I started at Worthington. I am so grateful for this opportunity and being a part of helping others keep their home safe.
